Hannah Hollis began her journey as a yoga teacher in 2018, completing her 200-hour Life Power Yoga certification under the Johnny Kest lineage—a dynamic, breath-centered approach rooted in vinyasa flow, intuitive movement, and internal awareness. Her training was led by two nationally recognized instructors, both with a strong foundation in Thai bodywork, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and hands-on assisting. These early influences shaped her love for physical alignment, energetic connection, and cultivating deep presence in the room.
After several years teaching in corporate wellness settings like Life Time Fitness, Hannah’s path took a powerful turn. Immersed in study with indigenous elders and longtime yogis, she began weaving ancient traditions, ceremony, and soul into every class. In 2021, she deepened her education with a second 200-hour training through Truly Helpful Yoga University, where she explored Sanskrit, yogic history, sound healing, and the sacred roots of yoga as a spiritual path. She later completed a 300-hour training with Yoga Renew and continues her studies toward yoga therapy.
For four years, Hannah taught yoga alongside therapists in therapeutic retreat settings—before and after deep trauma work sessions—to support emotional integration, embodiment, and healing. These experiences deepened her reverence for the subtle power of movement, stillness, and the breath to help people reconnect with themselves after profound inner work.
Her classes draw from a wide range of influences, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, chakra anatomy, frequency healing, Ayurveda, meditation, and pranayama. She has had the honor of teaching students from around the world—across cultures, languages, trauma histories, and life stages. Whether guiding beginners, seasoned practitioners, prenatal/postnatal students, children, or those navigating physical limitations, Hannah believes yoga is for every body and every soul. Her greatest joy is creating accessible, soulful spaces where each person feels safe, seen, and connected to their own truth.
In 2026–2027, Hannah plans to open her Florida homestead to host private Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trainings and immersive experiences—blending daily practice, land-based living, and intentional community on the land she and her family steward with love.
Hannah bows deeply to the old-world lineage of yoga, honoring its sacred roots with humility and care. At the same time, she strives to thoughtfully integrate new-world ideologies—bridging ancient wisdom with modern healing, and making yoga relevant, inclusive, and restorative for today’s world.
